New York City Football Club is pleased to confirm that goalkeeper Luis Barraza has been awarded Etihad's Player of the Month for June.
The shot-stopper was in fine form during the month of June, and played a vital role in the team securing some important results on the road. Â
Barraza played in four games for the team during June, and NYCFC collected points in all four outings. That included a brilliant individual showing against Real Salt Lake in which the 26-year-old produced several big saves.
The goalkeeper has also used his impressive ball-playing ability to help build out the team's attacks from the back, growing into his role as the Club's starting goalkeeper.Â
A worthy winner, the Club would like to congratulate Luis on this achievement.
