The forward also claimed the award in August, signfying a bright start to life at New York City FC.Â
In September, the Brazilian scored against the New England Revolution at Yankee Stadium before finding the net again in the 2-0 road win over Real Salt Lake.
His well-taken finish in Utah helped the Boys in Blue secure an important victory and capped a productive month for the 20-year-old.
The Brazilian’s physical presence has added another dimension to the attack, while his work rate and intelligent movement have made him a difficult opponent to contain.
